Job Summary

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards and recipes
  • Ensure consistency in drink preparation, presentation, and quality
  • Engage with guests professionally, providing recommendations and personalized service
  • Maintain full knowledge of menu offerings, promotions, and seasonal specialties
  • Ensure bar mise en place is prepared before service
  • Monitor stock levels and inform management of shortages
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Verify guest age requirements in compliance with local regulations
  • Process guest orders accurately through the POS system
  • Handle cash and card transactions responsibly
  • Support cost control by minimizing waste and breakage
  • Assist in monthly inventory and stock-taking procedures

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Previous experience as a Bartender in 5-star hotel or upscale bar
  • Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wines, and mixology techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-groomed appearance in line with luxury hospitality standards
  • Basic knowledge of food pairing is an advantage
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Relevant hospitality certification is preferred
