The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests, ensuring exceptional service, product knowledge, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked with appropriate supplies before, during, and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations when requested.
- Process orders accurately through the POS system and handle payments efficiently.
- Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible service of alcohol.
- Work closely with the service team to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of drinks.
- Assist in bar inventory, stock rotation, and monthly stocktaking.
- Stay up to date on menu changes, seasonal cocktails, and promotional offers.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a bartender or mixologist in a high-end or high-volume environment.
- Excellent knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, and spirits.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol (if applicable).
