Basketball Coach

SportPlex is looking for a passionate and energetic Basketball Coach to join our Sports Department and help develop the next generation of players.

Reporting to: Sports Manager

Key Responsibilities

Teach fundamental basketball skills such as shooting, dribbling, passing, defense, and footwork

Lead training sessions, clinics, and development programs for youth and adults

Coach teams during leagues and tournaments

Develop practice plans and game strategies

Encourage teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship

Ensure a safe and positive environment for all players

Support basketball camps, leagues, and special events

Communicate effectively with players and parents

Preferred Qualifications

Background in Physical Education, Sports Coaching, or Sports Management

Previous basketball coaching experience

Playing experience at high school, collegiate, or club level

Experience working with youth athletes
