Job Purpose
The Business Development Operations Officer supports the Business Development team with daily sales support, market research, client follow-ups, and reporting. The role focuses on coordination, execution, and administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of business development initiatives, under the guidance of the Business Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Support
- Assist in identifying potential business opportunities and new clients.
- Support market research activities, including competitor analysis and data collection.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and proposals under the guidance of the Business Development Manager.
- Maintain and update client and opportunity records in the CRM system.
Sales & Client Coordination
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and basic commercial documents.
- Coordinate meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support relationship management with existing clients through regular follow-ups.
Operations & Reporting
- Track business development activities, expenses, and basic performance metrics.
- Prepare reports on sales activities, market insights, and pipeline status.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to support approved initiatives.
Administrative & Team Support
- Provide administrative support to the Business Development team as needed.
- Support onboarding and coordination activities for new team members.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Skills And Qualifications
- Basic understanding of business development and sales concepts.
- Interest in learning market dynamics and customer behavior.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and work under supervision.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
- 02 years of experience in business development, sales, operations, or a related role.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internships or training are encouraged to apply.
- Basic experience in preparing reports or presentations is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
