Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Cairo for a BIM Coordinator Engineer. The role includes coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective collaboration among all project stakeholders. The BIM Coordinator Engineer will be responsible for leading architecture, MEP, and structural BIM models integration, and ensuring adherence to project standards. Additionally, the role involves managing technical project requirements, resolving potential clashes, and maintaining updated project documentation and data throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in BIM Coordination, including experience in coordinating multidisciplinary models (e.g., architectural, structural, MEP).
- Strong knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Architecture principles.
- Familiarity with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and collaboration across design and engineering teams.
- Project Management skills, including planning, organization, and communication, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in relevant BIM and design software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, or Navisworks is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Previous experience in consultancy or engineering services is an advantage.
