Role Description the BIM Manager role at SAUDICO is a full-time, on-site position based in New Cairo. The BIM Manager will oversee the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling processes across projects, ensuring coordination among multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining BIM standards, managing BIM models, and coordinating Virtual Design and Construction workflows between architecture, structural, and MEP disciplines. The role involves reviewing models for accuracy and constructability, resolving clashes and coordination issues, and supporting project managers and site teams with up-to-date digital project information. The BIM Manager will also provide training and guidance on BIM tools and best practices, helping drive continuous improvement in digital project delivery.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in BIM and construction projects
  • Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with experience managing BIM execution plans and standards.
  • Demonstrated skills in BIM Coordination and Virtual Design, including clash detection, model review, and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Background in Architecture or related design disciplines, with the ability to interpret and integrate architectural, structural, and finishing details into BIM models.
  • Experience working with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in BIM environments, coordinating MEP designs with other trades.
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with leading BIM and VDC software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 or similar platforms).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and model accuracy.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with project managers, design teams, and site personnel.
  • Previous experience in large-scale or complex construction projects is highly beneficial.
