Job Description

The BIM Manager works closely with project owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to develop, manage, and optimize the virtual construction process. This role focuses on maximizing construction efficiency, achieving cost savings, and enhancing project documentation and delivery through the effective implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to streamline design and technical processes across projects.
  • Provide leadership and direction to BIM teams, ensuring consistent application of BIM methodologies and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement in BIM processes by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, coordination, and overall project performance.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate BIM into project workflows and support interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Oversee the creation, coordination, and management of BIM models, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Conduct regular quality control reviews of BIM deliverables, including clash detection, error identification, and resolution of inconsistencies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between project teams and clients for all BIM-related requirements, progress updates, and deliverables.
  • Manage BIM software tools, licenses, and resources to support project teams and optimize productivity.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and ongoing support to project staff on BIM software and methodologies.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in BIM, and incorporate innovations into project workflows.

Job Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, Synchro, and ACC.
  • Strong understanding of architectural, engineering, and construction principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
  • Strong project management skills to coordinate interdisciplinary teams and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Arch Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including:
  • At least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
