Job Summary:
ACC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Modeler with a strong architectural background to join our reputable team in New Cairo. You will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and managing high-quality architectural BIM models for our diverse and prestigious portfolio of projects across the GCC. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a profound understanding of architectural design and construction processes within large-scale developments, and advanced proficiency in industry-standard BIM software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed and accurate architectural BIM models from 2D drawings, design sketches, and point cloud data, adhering to ACC's rigorous project standards.
- Collaborate closely with ACC's in-house architectural, structural, and MEP engineering teams, as well as external consultants, to facilitate comprehensive coordination and proactive clash detection within the BIM environment.
- Implement and champion ACC's established BIM standards, protocols, and workflows throughout all project stages.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks on BIM models to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and full compliance with project specifications, relevant international codes, and regional best practices.
- Actively participate in BIM coordination meetings, efficiently identify and resolve complex clashes, and effectively communicate solutions to the multidisciplinary project team.
- Rigorously maintain and update BIM models as design changes evolve, ensuring all project documentation and deliverables reflect the latest approved information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- 3-7 years of dedicated professional experience as a BIM Modeler, with a significant focus on architectural elements, gained within a reputable construction or architectural firm.
- Demonstrable experience working on large-scale, complex construction projects, particularly high-rise commercial, luxury residential, hospitality.
- Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit Architecture.
- Strong working knowledge of other essential BIM software including AutoCAD, Autodesk Navisworks Manage (for advanced clash detection and coordination), and SketchUp.
- In-depth understanding of architectural design principles, diverse construction methods, materials, and local/international building codes relevant to the GCC region.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse, multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with an unwavering attention to detail and accuracy.
