Job Description
We're Hiring: Senior BIM Modellers (Mechanical & Electrical) | Cairo, Egypt
NOVSTA Engineering is growing its Cairo delivery team. We're looking for 4 experienced BIM Modellers to join us full time:
• 2 × Mechanical BIM Modellers (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting)
• 2 × Electrical BIM Modellers (power, lighting, ELV, containment)
We're an engineering-led design and BIM practice delivering structural, MEP and digital engineering services for contractors, EPCs, developers and owners across Australia, the Gulf and Europe. Our models aren't just clash-free; they're built to be constructed.
What you'll do
• Develop coordinated Revit MEP models from LOD 350 to LOD 500
• Produce installation-ready shop drawings, builder's work and penetration drawings
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and resolve issues with engineering reasoning, not just by moving geometry
• Prepare as-built models and structured handover data
• Work to project BEPs, ISO 19650-aligned standards and client templates
What we're looking for
• B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 5–7 years of hands-on BIM modelling experience in your discipline
• Proven delivery of LOD 350, 400 and 500 models on real projects
• Strong Revit MEP and Navisworks skills; ACC/BIM 360 experience preferred
• Solid understanding of MEP systems, sizing and site installation
• Gulf project experience (KSA, Qatar, UAE) is a strong plus
• Dynamo or automation experience is a bonus
• Good written and spoken English
