Description
We are seeking a skilled Building Management System (BMS) Technician in Kuwait who will be responsible for testing & commissioning, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building automation systems, ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Review BMS design and validate product selection.
- Perform loop checking, wiring, and termination.
- Carry out programming, testing, and commissioning of BMS systems.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain BMS platforms covering HVAC, lighting, fire alarm integration, and other building services.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions on BMS equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve system faults, alarms, and performance issues.
- Support system upgrades, modifications, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with MEP teams, contractors, and facility managers to optimize building performance.
- Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and incident reports.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
- Hands-on experience with BMS platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Schneider, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Trane, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and fire alarm integration.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
