Role: Board Financial Adviser

Location: Dubai, UAE

Role Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a multi-family office focused on managing a diversified portfolio across various jurisdictions. In this role, you will work directly with the Board and CEO in a lean senior structure, providing a high-visibility, high-impact platform to influence strategic decisions. The Adviser will support the Board through strategic financial oversight, investment evaluation, risk governance, and capital markets advisory. The role requires deep expertise in banking, asset management, M&A, and regulatory frameworks, with the ability to shape financial strategy and guide high-impact decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise the Board on financial strategy, capital planning, liquidity, and profitability.
  • Evaluate investment portfolios, asset allocation, major transactions, and emerging opportunities.
  • Provide oversight on investment platforms, structured products, valuations, and due diligence.
  • Lead advisory on M&A, capital raising, IPOs, sukuk/bonds, private placements, and strategic deals.
  • Assess regulatory compliance, financial governance, risk controls, and market exposure.
  • Contribute to financial centre development, investment policy frameworks, and performance dashboards.
  • Advise on digital assets, tokenization, and relevant fintech/DeFi initiatives (where applicable).
  • Support Board committees and review audit, risk, and regulatory reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or CAIA (one or more required).
  • 15+ years of experience in banking, investment management, corporate finance, capital markets, or senior financial leadership roles.
  • Proven Board-level exposure and strong regulatory understanding.
