At Americana (Egypt), you'll be responsible for preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), ensuring accurate quantity take-offs, and supporting cost control throughout the project lifecycle. You'll work closely with Design, Procurement, Contractors, and Project Management teams to ensure materials, resources, and budgets align with project requirements.
You'll also support tendering processes, review contractor submissions, track cost variations, and provide detailed reports to ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Gathers, Analyses, conclude projects requirements, design drawings, specifications, etc.to prepare BOQs, Cost Estimates
- Prepare the estimated project B.O.Q.
- Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses, etc.
- Identifies and compiles from contract documents all quantities and specifications of materials required for the project.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of quantities) includes all project items descriptions, preambles, pricing of items for each site contract
- Reviews drawings and other project information to write and edit specifications for projects and coordinates compliance with project requirements, institutional guidelines, technical conditions, acceptable standards, and existing laws, rules, regulations, and codes.
- Understands the project design requirements and translates those requirements into materials, methods, equipment, procedures, installation, and certification testing necessary to provide the narrative descriptions which are used to in the tender documents / contract documents
- Performs product research; assists project designers with material selection and system research.
- Write technical specifications for the architecture Element's according to SCI master format, including code, compliance for new construction projects
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, concentration in Civil or Architecture.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management.
