Job Description

Job SummaryThe BOQ & Engineering Systems Controller is responsible for managing BOQ/BOM data and project information across engineering systems. The role ensures data accuracy, cost visibility, and effective coordination between Engineering, Procurement, and Planning to support efficient project execution.

About UsNAFFCO is a leading manufacturer of fire protection systems and safety solutions. We manufacture truck chassis in-house for our fire and emergency vehicle fleet, ensuring high quality, reliability, and full engineering integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update BOQ data, including Master BOQ, package structures, and related engineering documentation.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of project data in Oracle and Teamcenter, including work orders and material records.
  • Prepare price comparisons and cost analyses, and validate Purchase Orders (POs) against approved BOQs.
  • Analyze BOQs to initiate Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and support procurement activities.
  • Monitor project progress, including delivery status, stock levels, and overall execution.
  • Coordinate material release approvals and verify availability based on project requirements.
  • Generate reports and provide clarifications related to project, engineering, and procurement activities.
  • Create and manage work orders in Oracle and ensure proper system updates, including return materials.
  • Maintain master data and Excel-based tracking tools, providing analysis and feedback on material requirements.

Scope of Role

  • Manage BOQ activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure system accuracy, data integrity, and compliance.
  • Support cost control and pricing transparency.
  • Act as a key coordination point across Engineering and related functions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in BOQ management, engineering operations, or project coordination.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter).
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Good understanding of BOQ, procurement, and costing.
