Role Description
To lead and oversee sales activities in the Southern Region across retail, wholesale, and Discount channels, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, market expansion, and strong client relationships. This role requires deep knowledge of the southern market and a proven ability to manage and develop sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and support a team of sales representatives across multiple cities in the southern region.
- Drive the execution of sales plans and promotional activities across retail, wholesale, and discount channels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, wholesalers, and retailers in the region.
- Monitor daily sales performance and ensure alignment with KPIs and sales targets.
- Identify market opportunities and provide feedback on competition, pricing, and customer preferences.
- Ensure effective coverage, distribution, and visibility of products.
- Conduct regular market visits to evaluate performance, coach team members, and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics to ensure product availability.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Sales Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements:- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales supervision experience in the FMCG Sector.
- Strong understanding of the southern regions market dynamics and customer base.
- Proven ability to manage sales teams and deliver results across multiple locations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Candidate Profile:- Based in or has previously worked in the Southern Region.
- Holds a valid driving license and is willing to travel frequently within the region.
- Experience working with both traditional trade and modern trade customers.
