Job Description

The Brand and Marketing Director leads the strategic and creative direction of Earth Hotels brand and communications across all touchpoints. This role oversees brand identity, storytelling, partnerships, digital marketing, and community engagement, ensuring consistency, authenticity, and impact in every expression of the brand.

The position requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on creativity, combining data-driven insight with cultural awareness. The ideal candidate has experience building or shaping lifestyle, hospitality, or design-led brands and is passionate about translating purpose into presence.

What on Earth Will You Do

  • Define and evolve Earth Hotels brand identity, voice, and visual language.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications.
  • Translate brand strategy into guidelines and operational playbooks for use across properties and teams.
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans and budgets.
  • Lead brand campaigns, partnerships, and storytelling across digital, social, and print platforms.
  • Oversee content creation, press relations, photography, and video production.
  • Manage and optimize CRM, SEO, and digital performance metrics.
  • Identify and nurture collaborations with like-minded brands, artists, and creators.
  • Design and support event activations that bring the brand to life and strengthen community engagement.
  • Partner with property teams to ensure local marketing efforts align with group strategy.
  • Oversee website, digital assets, and e-commerce ecosystem with a focus on user experience and conversion.
  • Maintain an active digital presence across platforms and channels.
  • Leverage analytics and insights to refine campaigns and content strategy.
  • Work closely with Founders, Operations, and Property Citizens to ensure cohesive brand execution.
  • Support recruitment and training for marketing roles within the brand.
  • Inspire creativity, ownership, and collaboration within the marketing team and among partners.
  • Represent Earth Hotels in external events, media opportunities, and brand partnerships.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and ensure responsible marketing practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
