Role Overview
The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing global brand strategies. This role focuses on building strong brand equity, ensuring consistent brand identity across international markets, and supporting worldwide distributors. The ideal candidate has deep experience in luxury/perfume/cosmetics/personal care product markets, strong creativity, commercial acumen, and a global mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Develop and execute long-term brand strategies aligned with company objectives and global market trends.
- Define brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for new and existing fragrance lines.
- Analyze global fragrance trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to guide product development and brand direction.
Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- Collaborate with R&D, packaging, and design teams to create new products and limited editions for exclusive markets.
- Support concept creation, packaging development, naming, and storytelling for all fragrance launches.
- Oversee product lifecycle from launch to phase-out, ensuring alignment with market needs.
Marketing Campaigns & Global Communication
- Create integrated marketing plans, in collaboration with the marketing team, covering digital, print, PR, influencer partnerships, and activation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines, ensuring consistent implementation across all distributor and retail partners worldwide.
- coordinate annual and quarterly marketing calendar planning to align product launches, promotional campaigns, and global market activities for seamless execution.
Distributor & Market Support
- Coordinate with international distributors to provide marketing assets, training, and launch strategies.
- Evaluate distributor performance and support growth strategies in key markets.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand local consumer preferences and retail environments.
Sales Collaboration
- Work closely with the sales team to support revenue targets, pricing strategies, and promotional plans.
- Provide sales forecasts for new launches and core lines.
- Monitor brand performance via sell-in, sell-out, and market share data.
Budget Management
- Develop and manage brand budgets, ensuring cost-effective spending and ROI optimization.
- Track expenditure for campaigns and initiatives globally.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 58 years of brand management experience, preferably in perfumes, cosmetics, luxury goods, or FMCG sectors.
- Experience working with global markets and distributor-led business models.
- Strong understanding of fragrance industry dynamics, trends, and consumer insights.
- Exceptional communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in market analysis, branding tools, and digital marketing.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed.
