Allocating, monitoring, and controlling promotion expenditures for his/her assigned brands.
Initiating and developing all brand information material. Reviewing and submitting required approvals for materials during pre & postproduction.
Maintaining a complete and continuing record of relevant markets, product lines and competitive activity. Items: Sales history, Promotional campaigns, Current trends, Promotional methods and mix, Brand comparisons, Media weight, Competition profile, Physician usage, Promotion themes, OTC promotions (where applicable).
Monitoring and analyzing use of promotional material in field by working with sales force.
Issuing marketing documents: preliminary marketing plan, marketing decisions, brand plans, long-range plan and product plans of action.
Evaluating potential new brands, new promotions, and new ideas, and making appropriate recommendations to top management.
Recommending additions or deletions of sizes and dosages forms of products, as sales and profit levels require.
