Job Purpose:
The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies and plans, ensuring that they align with business goals and contribute to achieving sales targets. This role requires a strategic, data-driven approach to brand management with a strong focus on sales performance, stock management, trade spend & return on investment. The successful candidate will be accountable for meeting sales targets, optimizing product availability & visibility, and driving profitable growth through effective sales and marketing initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop, align and implement brand strategy to deliver category KPIs in alignment with the principal/supplier.
• Work with internal cross functional teams (Sales, Finance, Logistics, operational team etc).
• Responsible for management and control of promotion and trade marketing budgets.
• Responsible to achieve targeted revenue, market share and P&L
• Drive sales growth by executing brand and product strategies that maximize revenue and profitability.
• Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal product availability, minimizing stock outs and excess inventory while maximizing sales potential.
• Lead all NPDs launches with meeting the relevant KPIs.
Experience, skills and qualification:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent
Minimum 5-6 years of experience in FMCG Trade Marketing/ brand management/ Business Development
High analytical skills and data driven
Excellent in communication and presentation
Demonstrable aptitude in effective negotiating
Familiarity with market research, data analysis and forecasting techniques
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Conceptual thinking, Analytical Ability, Presentation Skills, Priority Setting, Problem Solving skills.
