Job Summary

Reporting to the US, Italian Brands Director with matrix reporting to headquarters, the Brand Manager will work closely with the Sales & Marketing teams to maximize sales volume and profitability through brand/product management, including positioning and price strategy across all Brands. Key responsibility of this position is to target and maintain a profitable defined segment share as well as develop and implement positioning strategies to fully leverage segments potential in the Middle East markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish sales targets by model and by market by defining together with Sales team the incentives needed to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Liaise with headquarters to ensure regional compliance and requirements are communicated on timely basis.
  • Preparation of market share analysis, brand presentations to key internal and external stakeholders, and reports for periodic review and annual planning.
  • Conduct special analysis of new model sales and volume opportunities.
  • Ensure product quality is in line with GSO / SASO standards.
  • Evaluate all sales proposals submitted by Distributors & Sales Team, assess financial viability and commercial benefit, and provide counterproposals where required.
  • Evaluate distributor Carflow submission and ensure appropriate inventory by Carline & market to maximize the commercial and financial performance of the brand in line with agreed targets.
  • Establish Go-To-Market Strategy, including but not limited to, positioning versus competition, proposed pricing by market, volume potential, and profitability by grade and liaise alongside Global / Regional Brand teams to achieve necessary approvals and profitability alignment.
  • Align with markets on business plan volume by carline, incentives required, and Market share / segment share targets to achieve Brand Targets and Objectives.
  • Ensure the right product configuration and product availability in the markets, identify and develop product opportunities to grow the business and to fully exploit segment potential in the various ME markets.
  • Evaluate key performance indicators of the region brand product files, regional price/ profit files by market and by model and develop & recommend retail/tactical incentives in view of the competitive activities to enhance sales performance and stock turnover.
  • Provide commercial parameters for future product programs to product planning ensuring future products meet specific market requirements for all 7 unique Middle East markets.
  • Ensure Brand marketing communication strategy is aligned with market requirements and company objectives.
  • Together with headquarters and Middle East Marketing Teams, responsible for annual/quarterly Marketing Plans for the Middle East.
  • Manage all regional Advertising Programs, activities and budget with the agencies of record and optimize marketing investment among the Brands.
  • Analyze Lead Generation Data and provide recommendations to enhance funnel performance.
  • Manage the P&L of each respective Brand, optimizing spend and profit to achieve Commercial & Financial Targets.

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • University Degree in Business Management/Sales & Marketing (Master's Degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years experience working in automotive industry
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Language: English, Arabic (Advantage)

  • Excellent analytical and financial skills with the ability to use data to build a compelling business case
  • Ability to study, analyse and interpret complex activities and/or information in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches.
  • Strong decision-making skills with an eye for strategic enhancement of the business.
