About the Role
This role is to lead one of our most critical business pillars. It carries full responsibility for the performance, strategy, and global expansion of our Trading business spanning derivatives and multi-asset markets serving both institutional and advanced retail participants worldwide.
Reporting into senior executive leadership, this appointment will own business outcomes end-to-end, shaping product direction, driving trading growth, and strengthening our position as a leading global trading platform.
We are seeking a commercially driven operator capable of scaling a high-volume trading franchise within a fast-moving and highly competitive global market environment.
Key Responsibilities
Global Business Ownership
- Lead our global Trading business with full accountability for strategy, execution, and performance.
- Define and deliver the long-term growth roadmap across products, markets, and client segments.
- Drive alignment across Product, Liquidity, Risk, Technology, and Regional leadership teams.
P&L Accountability
- Own trading revenue, volume growth, cost efficiency, and overall business profitability.
- Establish performance frameworks and execution plans to expand global market share.
Product & Market Leadership
- Shape the evolution of our derivatives ecosystem, including perpetuals, options, and advanced trading solutions.
- Ensure best-in-class competitiveness across liquidity depth, execution quality, pricing efficiency, and trading experience.
- Translate market structure developments into scalable product and commercial opportunities.
Institutional & Liquidity Growth
- Deepen engagement with institutional traders, proprietary trading firms, and market makers globally.
- Strengthen liquidity networks and professional trading infrastructure.
- Expand institutional participation across key trading verticals.
Global Expansion
- Drive regional trading growth strategies across established and emerging markets.
- Partner closely with regional leadership, Risk, and Compliance teams to support sustainable expansion.
Leadership
- Build and lead high-performing global teams across trading operations, business development, analytics, and growth.
- Foster an execution-focused culture combining speed, ownership, and accountability.
What we are looking for
- 10+ years in leading derivatives, electronic trading, exchange, or multi-asset trading businesses.
- Proven track record owning and scaling a global trading or markets business with direct P&L responsibility.
- Deep understanding of derivatives market structure, liquidity dynamics, and trading system architecture.
- Experience operating across international markets within fast-paced or regulated trading environments.
- Strong commercial instinct combined with operational execution capability.
- Entrepreneurial leadership style with the ability to operate effectively at scale and speed.
- Executive presence with the ability to influence across technical, commercial, and leadership stakeholders.
What's Preferred
- Experience within leading global exchanges, trading venues, or institutional trading firms.
- Background across digital asset or electronic trading markets.
- Multilingual capability advantageous.
