Job Objective
Handle financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities for JCSA. Assist in the development of financial budgets across JCSA (e.g. Annual Budgets) in coordination with different directorates in order to provide adequate funds needed to perform the strategic and operational activities and prepare the consolidated budget for final approvals.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of the organization-wide annual budgeting exercise, in alignment with strategic and operational planning of JCSA.
- Review operating plans to analyze trends affecting budget needs.
- Support directorates in developing their budgets, consolidate them, ensure their completeness; adequacy; and alignment with the operational and strategic plans, and prepare for key stakeholders approvals.
- Review the actual monthly expenses and budget, and identify variances, and highlight justification in coordination with related functions.
- Prepare variances report comparing actual expenses with allocated budget and suggest appropriate corrective financial actions as required.
- Prepare a budget report periodically to display Year-To-Date budget and actual expenses.
- Monitor and analyze total-project cost forecasts and coordinate with the team to manage and update cash flow projections.
- Prepare various deliverables to support both internal and external financial reporting needs, including analytic commentary and the preparation of supplementary financial analysis for management and other stakeholders.
- Prepare financial reports, charts, tables, and other exhibits as requested.
- Keep current with Financial Budgeting and Reporting best practices and trends.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or any relevant field
2-3 years of experience in the same field
