The Business Analyst will support our client Airline's 3-Class Configuration initiative by acting as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams within the aviation eCommerce ecosystem. The role is responsible for eliciting, analysing, and documenting business requirements related to digital channels such as web, mobile applications, and airport-facing services, ensuring that proposed solutions are aligned with business objectives, operational constraints, and customer experience goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and validate functional and non-functional requirements for aviation eCommerce initiatives.
- Conduct feasibility assessments, impact analysis, and cost-benefit evaluations to support informed decision-making.
- Document business processes, workflows, user journeys, and use cases using structured and industry-standard techniques.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and high-level technical specifications for development teams.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, developers, and QA teams to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements.
- Define and track KPIs and success metrics to measure business outcomes and solution effectiveness.
- Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario definition, execution oversight, and defect triage.
- Provide post-implementation support and clarification to business users and operational teams.
- Stay current with aviation digital trends, eCommerce best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 35 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in the aviation industry (eCommerce, mobile apps, or airport services).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
- Proven experience working in cross-functional, stakeholder-driven environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
