The Business Analytics Coordinator plays a key role in supporting operational performance monitoring and data analytics activities at the CPY Site (Abqaiq Central Pipe Yard). The role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting operational data to support performance improvement, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making.
The position operates within a high-volume operational environment involving heavy pipe handling operations, intensive logistics activities, and large-scale truck movements. The role holder will work closely with site operations teams to track key operational metrics, identify performance trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ASMO's operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
Assist in defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to site operations, logistics activities, material handling, and operational efficiency.
Collect, validate, and analyze operational data from site activities including pipe handling operations, yard productivity, truck movements, and equipment utilization.
Prepare periodic performance dashboards and analytical reports to support site leadership in monitoring operational performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
Utilize data analytics tools and business intelligence platforms to identify operational trends and generate data-driven insights that support operational decision-making.
Support benchmarking and performance comparisons against internal standards and industry practices to identify performance improvement opportunities.
Work with cross-functional teams including operations, logistics, and IT to identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement areas.
Assist in conducting root cause analysis of operational performance issues and support the development of corrective actions and process improvement initiatives.
Ensure operational data accuracy and integrity within reporting systems and performance dashboards.
Monitor and analyze site operational data related to pipe handling activities, yard utilization, and truck flow movements to support efficient yard operations and logistics planning.
Support site leadership by tracking operational metrics related to pipe lifting activities, material handling equipment (MHE) utilization, and high-volume truck movements to identify operational trends and efficiency opportunities.
Assist operations teams in generating real-time and periodic reports that support operational coordination and performance monitoring within the CPY site.
Collaborate with operations and planning teams to improve visibility of operational performance across key CPY activities including pipe storage, dispatch operations, and yard logistics management.
Support the TEAM in terms of

- Document Management and Storage Systems, i.e. Microsoft Sharepoint
- Automation tools, i.e. Microsoft Power Automate
Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Business Administration, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required
Good knowledge of Office Tools & Advanced level of MS Office (Excel)
Good command in Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft Sharepoint and Microsoft Power Automate
Clear understanding of DAX Measures, calculated columns and creating datatable relationships, is a must.
Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English and Arabic

Proven experience in business analytics or performance analysis within operational or industrial environments.
Experience working in high-volume logistics or operational sites is preferred.
Exposure to industrial environments involving heavy equipment operations, pipe handling activities, or large-scale logistics movements is advantageous
