Job Summary:

Lead the commercial analytics function which supports strategic and operational decisions making using data to improve sales performance, pricing strategies, customer relationships, and revenue growth.

Job duties:

  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and growth patterns to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Monitor and enhance forecasting accuracy for monthly, quarterly, and annual plans.
  • Design and implement automated dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Strategy teams to align analytics with business objectives.
  • Provide analytical support for Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and long-range strategic planning
  • Create reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
  • Build analytics capability within the team through training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities to improve demand planning.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of KPIs, including OTIF, forecast accuracy, and profitability metrics.
  • Deliver actionable insights to support pricing strategies, product mix decisions, and revenue optimization.
  • Align analytical insights with commercial objectives to assist management in forecasting demand and revenue.
  • Support contract negotiations and commercial decisions with data-driven recommendations.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

  • 9-12 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing field is a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in business Analytics, Statistics, Management Information System, or Business Administration; MBA or equivalent is an asset.
  • Certified Business Analytics Professional is an asset.
  • Gained trainings in: Business Analytics /Advanced Excel/ BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and ERP systems.
