Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Business Banking clients, providing seamless account management and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain deep relationships with clients in specialized sectors such as commodity trading and shipping to anticipate and address industry-specific requirements.
- Organize and participate in client engagement initiatives, including events, workshops, and webinars, to deepen client relationships and showcase AAIB's capabilities.
- Actively participate in networking opportunities to identify potential regional clients and strengthen AAIB's position in the cross-border banking market.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Achieve individual sales targets for client acquisition, revenue growth, product penetration, and portfolio management.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned portfolio and target market segments while aligning with the Business Banking Origination team.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize wallet share and client lifetime value.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition of AAIB's products and services.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with clients within established guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Product Management, Operations) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
Portfolio Growth and Profitability
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and increasing the wallet share of existing clients.
- Expand the use of AAIB's products and services among regional clients, leveraging solutions from GTB, Treasury, Acquiring, and Payroll specialists.
- Actively engage in market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities for client engagement and portfolio expansion.
- Work closely with industry origination teams to ensure the smooth handover of new accounts, facilitating onboarding and ensuring long-term relationship success
- Provide continuous updates and feedback to origination teams on the performance and needs of transitioned accounts to maintain alignment with client expectations
- Business Development: Analyze client data and identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell relevant products and services.
- Monitor client activity and identify any potential risks or opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on individual sales performance against assigned targets.
- Provide regular updates to the Team Leader on sales activities, client interactions, and market trends.
Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Participate and recommend improvements to policies, processes and procedures and manage their implementation to ensure all relevant legislative/procedural requirements are fulfilled.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Relationship Manager: 3 5 years of experience in business banking or a related field, with a proven track record in sales. / Senior Relationship Manager: Min 5 years.
