About the Role

Line Two is supporting a confidential, reputable bank in Riyadh to hire a Business Continuity Officer. This role supports the bank's Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) program to ensure operational resilience, effective incident readiness, and strong documentation and testing standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the bank's BCM framework and ensure continuity documentation remains current and practical.
  • Maintain and update Business Impact Assessments (BIA), recovery time objectives (RTO), recovery point objectives (RPO), and critical process inventories.
  • Coordinate updates to Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) across departments and ensure ownership and sign-offs are maintained.
  • Support BCP/DR testing (tabletop exercises, simulation drills, call-tree tests): planning, execution support, minutes, and post-test reports.
  • Assist in incident/crisis readiness activities: playbooks, communications templates, escalation matrices, and training support.
  • Track BCM actions and remediation items to closure and maintain evidence packs for audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Support vendor/third-party continuity documentation and follow-ups (as required).
  • Prepare periodic reporting (BCM status, test results, gaps, progress updates) for management stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Risk, Engineering, MIS, or related field.
  • 1–4 years experience in Business Continuity / Operational Resilience / DR coordination / Crisis Management (banking/regulated sector is a plus).
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to manage trackers, action logs, and evidence folders.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Ability to work on-site in Riyadh.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Exposure to standards such as ISO 22301 (Business Continuity) or operational resilience practices.
  • Experience coordinating IT DR activities with technology teams (without needing to be an engineer).
  • Certification (or in progress): CBCI / ISO 22301 (or similar).
