Job Overview:
SAMI A.A.I is seeking a highly capable and driven professional to join its Business Development Industrial Development team. The role focuses on supporting industrialization initiatives, developing Industrial Participation Plans, and collaborating with global OEMs, local partners, and government stakeholders within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate will operate effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong cross-functional coordination. A key aspect of the role is leveraging digital transformation tools to enhance processes, automate reporting, and improve operational efficiency.
- Support business development activities related to industrialization and industrial participation
- Develop and contribute to Industrial Participation Plans (IPP)
- Coordinate with global OEMs, local companies, and government entities
- Participate in project planning and definition phases with key stakeholders
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives using digital transformation tools
- Develop and enhance performance reports and KPIs for internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare high-quality executive presentations and business reports
- Manage reporting requirements, credit claims, and associated documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and successful delivery
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrialization, manufacturing engineering, or production within aerospace or a similar regulated industry
Preferred:
- Minor or additional certification in a technical or business-related field
Experience:
- 4-6 years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working with Major OEM's is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Required:
- Strong understanding of digital transformation, process improvement, and planning.
- General understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, composites, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
- Strong PowerPoint skills, including development of executive-level presentations
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems or accounting systems
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Ability to read, write, and interpret technical documentation
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills
Preferred:
- Experience working with physical assets (e.g., aircraft, maritime vessels, industrial equipment)
Certifications (Preferred):
- Certifications in Digital Transformation, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt)
- APICS / CPIM
- Training in Contract Management or Finance
