Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Associate, based in Al Khobar. Britam is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Development & Proposals Associate to support BD Director in managing the full opportunity lifecycle across proposal preparation, CRM management, marketing coordination, client follow-up, and opportunity research.This role is ideal for a candidate with strong experience in proposal formatting and submission readiness, and the discipline to maintain a clean and accurate CRM pipeline, ensuring full visibility for management. Capturing opportunities and supporting the BD Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Proposals, RFQs & Tender Support

  • Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, capability statements, and RFQ/RFP responses. Ensure all documents are professionally formatted, aligned with brand standards, and ready for client submission. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect required inputs (technical, commercial, legal, project references, CVs, etc.). Maintain and continuously improve proposal templates, boilerplate content, and the company profile. Ensure compliance with client requirements, submission instructions, and proposal checklists.

CRM Management (HubSpot)

  • Own day-to-day BD CRM execution and data hygiene in HubSpot. Create and update Deals, Companies, and Contacts with accurate data. Maintain pipeline stages, deal values, close dates, probability, and next steps. Log and track key activities: meetings, calls, emails, follow-ups, and proposal submissions. Build and maintain trackers inside HubSpot (tasks, reminders, sequences as applicable). Support the BD Director with weekly reporting and dashboards, including: o New deals created o Stage changes o Meetings held o Proposals submitted o Upcoming follow-ups

Client Follow-Up & Meeting Coordination

  • Follow up with clients after proposal submission to confirm receipt, gather feedback, and track next steps. Support the BD team in setting meetings with decision-makers and stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of communication, meeting notes, and next actions inside HubSpot. Prepare meeting agendas, briefing notes, and follow-up summaries.

Opportunity Research & Qualification

  • Research target clients, sectors, and upcoming opportunities. Assist in qualifying opportunities based on fit, requirements, timelines, and strategic alignment.Collect and summarize client intelligence: decision makers, project background, procurement process, and timelines.

Competitor Tracking & Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activity, announcements, and market movements. Maintain a competitor tracker with key notes on positioning, strengths, and differentiators. Support the BD Director with insights to strengthen messaging and win strategy.

Internal Coordination & Administration

  • Coordinate internally with operations, finance, and technical teams to ensure smooth proposal execution. Track proposal progress, deadlines, approvals, and deliverables. Ensure BD files are organised, version-controlled, and stored properly.

  • Qualifications & Experience Essential: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field. 25 years of experience in a similar role involving: Proposal support / tendering / pursuits CRM management (strongly preferred) Marketing coordination Business development support Experience in the Saudi market (B2B or B2G) is highly preferred.
