TachyHealth is on the lookout for a Healthcare Business Development Associate (MD) to join its team. A leading healthcare technology startup in the MENA region, with a mission of driving value-based healthcare worldwide and making healthcare better on a scale, through transforming the payer-to-provider interaction using Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
Role Summary:
We're seeking a Medical Doctor (MD) with hands-on experience in healthcare insurance with at least 3 years in the field. This role requires a deep understanding of client dynamics in the healthcare sector and the ability to translate complex healthcare workflows into intuitive, AI-driven product solutions. As a Healthcare BD Associate, you'll work at the intersection of technology and healthcare, ensuring our products meet the industry's evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target healthcare providers such as hospitals, clinics, and specialty centers aligned with our ideal customer profile.
- Initiate and lead outreach to key decision-makers including Medical Directors, CEOs, CFOs, and Revenue Cycle leaders, leveraging medical credibility to build trust and open strategic conversations.
- Conduct consultative discovery meetings to understand clinical workflows, documentation practices, coding processes, claim denials, compliance risks, and revenue leakage areas.
- Translate clinical and operational challenges into clear business cases that demonstrate measurable impact on revenue optimization, compliance, and quality of care.
- Qualify opportunities by assessing need, decision-making structure, budget readiness, and implementation timeline.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and manage early-stage pipeline tracking, ensuring structured follow-up and progression.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Solution Architecture, AI/ML, and Commercial teams to align proposed solutions with client needs.
- Prepare structured internal briefs before proposal or demo stages to ensure seamless handover and strong positioning.
- Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and industry engagements as a clinically credible ambassador.
Required Qualifications:
- MD with 3+ years of experience in healthcare insurance, RCM, or claims management.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare client relationships, claims processes, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with AI or data science-driven healthcare products.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools.
