As we scale our presence in the region, we are hiring a Business Development Director to lead revenue growth, build strategic client relationships, and drive performance across all TalentHive verticals.
The Role
This is a hands-on, revenue-generating leadership role. The Business Development Director will carry their own individual sales quota while also building, managing, and leading a high-performing BD team, ensuring both individual and team revenue targets are consistently achieved.
You will act as a senior commercial leader for TalentHive in the region, owning new business strategy, pipeline development, and key enterprise relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Individual Revenue & Growth
- Own and consistently deliver against a personal sales quota
- Drive new business acquisition across RPO, Contingent, and Retained Search models
- Develop and convert a strong pipeline of mid to large enterprise clients
- Leverage existing relationships and regional network to open doors at senior decision-maker level
Team Leadership & Performance
- Build, manage, mentor, and motivate a Business Development team
- Set clear KPIs, targets, and accountability frameworks
- Ensure the team quota is achieved and exceeded on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Coach team members on consultative selling, objection handling, and closing strategies
Strategy & Market Leadership
- Oversee business development activity across all TalentHive verticals
- Work closely with delivery, recruitment, and leadership teams to align sales strategy with execution
- Identify new market opportunities, sectors, and service offerings
- Represent TalentHive at industry events, client meetings, and regional networking forums
Required Experience & Profile
- 8+ years of experience in business development / sales leadership, ideally within recruitment, RPO, staffing, or professional services
- Minimum 5 years experience living and working in the UAE, with a strong understanding of the GCC market
- Proven track record of closing deals personally while managing and scaling sales teams
- Established network of decision-makers across HR, TA, C-suite, and business leadership in the region
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to sell consultative, solution-based services
- Experience working across multiple sectors / verticals
- Confident, credible, and able to operate at senior stakeholder level
