We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Engineer to join our team.
This role drives sales growth by effectively managing walk-in clients at our showroom and proactively developing relationships with design offices and engineering firms.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of finishing materials, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Manage walk-in clients, offer technical advice, and recommend suitable products.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for design offices, architects, and engineering firms.
Generate quotations, process orders, and ensure timely delivery of products.
Maintain client data in CRM and monitor sales progress.
Identify and develop new business opportunities through outreach and networking.
Support project coordination and provide technical guidance on product selection.
Stay informed about trends in building materials, competitor activities, and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
13 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical sales, preferably in building materials, construction, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of finishing materials and technical product savvy.
Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and in a team.
