Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to join a leading global organizer of high-profile exhibitions and events. This role is central to driving growth within the financial services, fintech, and trading sector. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader responsible for achieving sales targets, innovating sales approaches, and mentoring a high-performance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the sales cycle for new and existing exhibitions to meet and exceed strategic and financial targets.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and training to the Sales team to ensure peak performance.
  • Research market trends, competitor activities, and new sales innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives and programs to maximize client acquisition and retention.
  • Expand and manage the exhibition database, proactively contacting new markets to secure exhibitors.
  • Contribute to the creation of compelling sales and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Operations teams to ensure the delivery of high-standard events.
  • Implement effective key account management strategies and demonstrate tenacity in client negotiations.
  • Take ownership of all sales-related financial revenues, from target setting and tracking to final delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably within the B2B events sector or the financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in the exhibition industry is essential.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
