Job Description

Bidfood ME is one of the leading foodservice companies in the UAE and Middle East and is looking for a Business Development Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales and distribution targets within the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering) channel. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, building strong client relationships, and driving profitability. The BDE will act as a brand ambassador, actively engaging the local foodservice market, executing strategic initiatives, and ensuring exceptional customer service to maximize long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales, margin, and distribution targets.
  • Track sales KPIs and align activities to meet monthly and quarterly goals.
  • Identify potential foodservice customers through market mapping, lead generation, and networking.
  • Engage in proactive outreach and conduct client meetings, presentations, and tastings.
  • Maintain and grow existing client relationships through consistent communication and support.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within current accounts.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers such as procurement managers, F&B managers, chefs, and owners.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure new business that aligns with margin and strategic goals.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and fulfillment.
  • Execute local marketing campaigns and food brand promotions.
  • Maximize brand visibility and sales performance through strategic market engagement.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • 24 years of B2B sales experience in foodservice, HORECA, or FMCG sectors.
  • Existing client network in HORECA industry is a strong advantage.
  • Valid UAE driving license (if applicable).
  • Min 3 years in Sales, BD or Account Management within the food service or hospitality sector.
  • Been in the UAE for more than 2 years
  • Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel across the Emirates

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho).
  • Strong reporting and pipeline management skills.
  • Presentation and product demo skills (food tasting knowledge is a plus).
