Job description:
Sales/Business Development Executive - Interior Fitout, Events & Exhibitions
The Sales/Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving business growth through identifying and securing new opportunities within the Exhibition sector. This role requires a strategic approach to business development, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
1. Market Research:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitor activities. Use insights gathered to develop targeted strategies for business growth.
2. Lead Generation:
Generate leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging online platforms. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
3. Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and requirements to effectively position our exhibition and event solutions and services.
4. Proposal Development:
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients. Tailor solutions to meet their specific project requirements and budget constraints.
5. Negotiation and Closing:
Lead negotiations with clients to secure profitable contracts. Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth handover and execution of projects.
6. Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams including design, estimation, and project management to develop innovative solutions that meet client expectations and project objectives.
7. Reporting and Forecasting:
Maintain accurate records of business development activities and provide regular reports to senior management. Forecast sales targets and track progress towards achieving them.
8. Industry Networking: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the company's network and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
