About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to join our Sales team at Link Datacenter. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients, understanding their business needs, and effectively communicating our IT, cloud, and managed service offerings to build interest and generate qualified leads for the sales pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects using tools like LinkedIn, CRM, email outreach, cold calling, and other channels.
- Conduct market research and identify potential clients across target industries in Egypt and the MENA region
- Engage with prospects to assess their business needs and determine fit with our services (cloud hosting, data center solutions, managed services, security, etc.).
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and deliver high-quality prospects to the Sales Account Managers.
- Schedule appointments and meetings between qualified prospects and the sales team.
- Maintain accurate lead records and activity logs in CRM systems and track key metrics (lead conversion, pipeline growth, activity outcomes).
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging, outreach campaigns, and lead generation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree 3+ years in sales industry
- 2+ years of experience in lead generation, business development, sales support, or related role ideally in the IT services, cloud, or tech services sector.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong research and prospecting skills with the ability to identify and prioritize qualified leads.
- Comfortable with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive) and outreach tools (Sales Navigator, Hunter, Apollo, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced sales environment.
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a passion for technology and helping clients find the right IT solutions.
