Business Development Executive
Background
Nexus Global Payments (NGP) is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, incorporated in Singapore in March 2025. NGP was established to own, maintain and manage the Nexus scheme – a multilateral initiative to enable instant, secure, and efficient cross-border payments by interconnecting Instant Payment Systems (IPS) worldwide. NGP is currently owned by central banks in participating countries (India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand). This is an opportunity to join NGP at a formative stage as we build the world's first multilateral network for instant cross-border payments. As we work towards go-live in late 2027, you will help shape how NGP engages with Instant Payment Service Operators, banks, financial institutions, technology partners, regulators and other ecosystem stakeholders across participating and prospective markets.
Position: Business Development Executive
The opportunity: We are looking for a commercially minded and relationship-driven Business Development Executive to support NGP's market engagement, partnership development and ecosystem growth. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders to build awareness of the Nexus scheme, support prospective participant engagement and help turn strategic opportunities into practical next steps.
This role is well suited to someone with around five to ten years of front-line experience who enjoys working across business, technology, compliance, legal, risk and operations teams, and who is confident representing an organisation externally with banks, financial institutions and payment ecosystem participants.
Reporting line: Reports to the Chief Commercial & Partnerships Officer (CCPO) NGP.
