About The Role
At Octane, we are transforming how businesses manage and control fleet and vehicle-related expenses across Egypt through our digital payment and fleet management ecosystem.
As a
Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving Octane's growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and acquiring new B2B clients across multiple industries.
What You'll Be Doing
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across target industries.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and market research.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to introduce Octane's solutions to prospective clients.
- Understand customer business needs and position Octane's products as value-driven solutions.
- Manage the full business development cycle from lead generation through negotiation and contract closure.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, including business owners, finance leaders, operations managers, and procurement teams.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience.
- Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales activities, pipeline updates, and forecasting through CRM systems.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new growth opportunities.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Enterprise Sales, or Account Acquisition.
- Having a car and a valid driving license is a must
- This is an outdoor, field-based role requiring regular client visits.
- Previous experience in the fintech, automotive, mobility, fleet management, SaaS, logistics, or technology sectors is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong commercial awareness and customer-centric mindset.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
