Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt for a Business Development Executive.
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. Additional responsibilities include conducting market research, providing strategic sales insights, delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation:Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting using a multi-channel approach (email, LinkedIn, phone calls, etc.) to generate new leads from a defined target market.
- Qualification & Discovery:Conduct initial discovery calls with generated leads to identify pain points, understand business needs, and assess their fit against our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) using methodologies such as BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline).
- Opportunity Creation:Convert qualified leads into scheduled meetings.
- Pipeline Management:Accurately track and manage all activities, leads, and opportunities in our CRM, maintaining a clean and up-to-date pipeline.
- Negotiation & Closing:Own the end-to-end negotiation process for the solution development and sales cycle. You are responsible for getting the contract signed.
- Market Intelligence:Serve as the ears of the company, gathering feedback and insights from the market about customer needs and the competitive landscape.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or any related field.
- Experience in a similar outbound Sales or Business Development role, preferably in a B2B Software, SaaS or technology environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation and sales targets.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects confidently.
- Ability to perform market research and analyze competitive trends to identify opportunities.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, resilience, and a hunter mentality.
- Basic understanding of CRM systems and sales engagement platforms.
