Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across the banking sector in the Middle East. Based in Dubai, you will focus on developing relationships with financial institutions and identifying opportunities to introduce our capital markets technology solutions across the region.

In this role, you will engage with banks and market participants to understand their technology priorities, operational challenges, and regulatory landscape. You will position our platform as a strategic solution supporting trading, risk management, and post-trade operations. This role requires a consultative sales approach, strong knowledge of financial markets, and the ability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles within large banking organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with banks and financial institutions across the Middle East
  • Develop and execute regional account strategies to expand the company's presence within the banking and capital markets sector
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders including front office, risk, operations, and technology leaders
  • Manage the full enterprise sales cycle, from initial engagement and opportunity qualification through to negotiation and deal closure
  • Understand client priorities including regulatory requirements, trading workflows, and risk management processes
  • Present the company's capital markets technology platform and articulate its value to prospective clients
  • Work closely with internal teams including solution architects, product specialists, and delivery managers to develop tailored client proposals
  • Support and coordinate responses to RFP and RFI processes
  • Organise and participate in product demonstrations, workshops, and solution discussions
  • Maintain and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities to support regional revenue growth
  • Monitor developments across the Middle East banking and fintech landscape, including competitor activity and market trends
  • Provide client insights and market feedback to support the company's regional strategy and product development

Skills & Experience

  • 812 years of experience in enterprise software sales, financial technology, or consulting within financial services
  • Proven experience selling technology solutions to banks or financial institutions
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, trading environments, and financial instruments
  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with RFP / RFI processes within financial institutions
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills with a track record of closing enterprise technology deals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior banking stakeholders
  • Ability to build long-term relationships and establish credibility within large organisations
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working in a regional, client-facing role
  • Willingness to travel across the Middle East as required
