Job Description
- Pursue sales leads
- Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas,
- trends, customers, and products.
- Arrange meetings with prospective clients and conduct regular field visits.
- Lead efforts to open new markets and increase market share in existing markets.
- Attend industry events to increase visibility in market and identify new opportunities.
- Monitor competitors by collecting market information on prices, new products, delivery schedules and promotion techniques.
- Submit reports pertaining to sales and marketing, and business development efforts to General Manager / Deputy General Manager.
- Familiarization with product types and high-level technical knowledge vis--vis target industries and specific customer requirements.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in the sales/business development function preferably in food industry.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (reading/writing/speaking)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of CRM software is a plus.
