Job Description

The Business Development Manager will lead and drive the global expansion strategy of the company within the medical and healthcare offshoring sector. The role is accountable for developing international business pipelines, managing strategic partnerships, and securing large-scale medical outsourcing contracts across the US, UK, Europe, and GCC regions. The Manager will oversee a BD team, set targets, and ensure the successful transition of new clients from negotiation phase to operational onboarding.

This position requires strong leadership capabilities, deep knowledge of medical operations & RCM systems, and proven experience in managing offshore healthcare clients. The Manager will collaborate with C-level stakeholders, delivery heads, compliance, finance, and medical operations to ensure commercial success and sustainable revenue growth.

Key Managerial Functions:

  • Lead the global business development unit for healthcare and offshoring markets.
  • Define, plan, and execute international BD strategies aligned with company revenue goals.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle: lead generation solution pitching negotiation contract closure.
  • Build and manage a high-performing BD team (inside sales, account executives, client onboarding).
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with hospitals, insurance providers, medical billing firms, pharmaceutical organizations, and telehealth partners.
  • Lead negotiations for commercial contracts, SLAs, pricing models, and offshore service agreements.
  • Work closely with delivery & operations leaders to ensure smooth onboarding and transition of new clients.
  • Monitor global healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS, ICD-10, CPT, insurance compliance) and ensure adherence.
  • Conduct international market analysis to identify growth zones and potential BD channels.
  • Represent the organization at medical summits, outsourcing expos, and global healthcare events.
  • Prepare quarterly revenue forecasts, pipeline reports, and strategic BD plans for executive management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in client acquisition processes, pricing competitiveness, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Oversee RFP/RFI submissions and ensure timely and accurate proposal development.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor BD team members to achieve quarterly targets.
  • Establish KPIs, commission schemes, and performance tracking frameworks.
  • Align cross-functional collaboration between BD, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Finance.
  • Ensure best practices in CRM usage, deal tracking, and pipeline performance evaluation.
  • Promote a customer-centric negotiation and onboarding approach.
