About the Role
We are seeking an influential and results-driven Senior Lead – Enterprise Business Development to accelerate growth across Saudi Arabia, the GCC, and international markets, engaging with major industrial corporations, petrochemical producers, and government-affiliated entities.
This executive role focuses on originating high-value opportunities, building long-term strategic partnerships, and aligning advanced chemical and industrial solutions with the priorities of national transformation programs and global industry trends. The role combines domestic market leadership with international business expansion, positioning the organization as a key player in both regional and global value chains.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute enterprise business development and sales strategies across Saudi Arabia, GCC, and selected international markets, targeting petrochemical companies, industrial manufacturers, energy firms, and government-backed entities.
- Identify and develop cross-border opportunities, global partnerships, and export-driven growth initiatives within the chemical and industrial sectors.
- Drive adoption of the company's chemical products, specialty materials, process technologies, and industrial solutions, aligning with client operational, sustainability, and global competitiveness goals.
- Build and expand relationships with senior stakeholders across local, regional, and international organizations, including multinational corporations, regulatory bodies, and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) frameworks.
- Leverage an established regional network while actively developing global executive relationships and strategic alliances.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and international stakeholders, positioning the organization as a long-term strategic partner in areas such as process optimization, supply chain resilience, localization, and sustainability/ESG initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical, R&D, and operations teams to deliver customized, value-driven solutions tailored to both local and international market needs.
- Navigate complex, long-cycle sales processes across multiple geographies, involving procurement, engineering, legal, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at regional and international industry forums, global exhibitions, and government-led industrial initiatives.
- Originate and lead enterprise deals, including multi-country contracts, joint ventures, licensing agreements, and strategic alliances, supported by cross-functional teams.
- Provide leadership across a matrix organization, mentoring commercial and technical teams to drive global alignment and performance excellence.
- Oversee compliance with Regional Headquarters (RHQ) requirements, international trade regulations, and local industrial policies.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or strategic partnerships within chemical manufacturing, petrochemicals, or industrial sectors across Saudi Arabia, GCC, and international markets.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Strong network across regional and global industrial players, multinational corporations, and government-linked entities.
- Proven track record of closing large-scale, high-value B2B deals across multiple geographies in complex and regulated environments.
- Deep understanding of global chemical value chains, industrial processes, and market dynamics, including challenges such as feedstock optimization, sustainability, and ESG compliance.
- Native Arabic speaker with excellent English communication skills (additional international business language is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia's industrial strategy (Vision 2030) alongside awareness of global market trends and international trade frameworks.
- Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across different cultures and markets.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing, cross-border teams.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes, international contracting, trade regulations, and funding mechanisms.
