The Opportunity
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition, strategic
partnerships, and revenue growth across both the wedding and marketing verticals.
This role requires someone who understands premium clientele, can navigate luxury
and corporate environments, and has the ability to convert high-value projects with
confidence and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Conversion
- Identify and pursue HNI clients, luxury wedding planners, corporate brands,
agencies, and premium venues
- Present the capabilities of Envelop x Rayqube across weddings, experiential
marketing, and tech-enabled events
- Manage the full business development cycle from initial outreach to contract
closure
- Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and finalise agreements
- Maintain a structured BD pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets
Market Presence
- Represent the collaboration at industry shows, expos, and networking events
- Build visibility within both luxury weddings and brand marketing ecosystems
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging market
opportunities
Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with planners, venues, corporate
teams, agencies, and vendors
- Coordinate with internal creative, operations, and technical teams for accurate
scoping and delivery
- Collect client insights to refine offerings and strengthen market positioning
Candidate Profile
Required Experience
- 4+ years of business development experience in luxury weddings, experiential
marketing, events, or premium hospitality
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
- Proven track record of closing high-value projects
- Strong network across wedding planners, corporate brands, or hospitality
partners
- Solid understanding of event formats, budgets, and client expectations
- Proficiency in CRM systems and pipeline management
Core Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation, pitching, and closing abilities
- Relationship-driven approach with high professionalism and emotional
intelligence
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable with structured pipeline
management
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to selling event technology or integrated creativetech solutions
- Existing relationships with luxury hotels, destination venues, global brands, or
celebrity planners
- Familiarity with GCC markets
