The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a senior-level role focused on driving strategic growth for EthosEnergy's Middle East Shops business. The position emphasizes long-term market penetration, opportunity creation, and recovery of dormant accounts. Unlike transactional sales roles, the BDM operates at an executive level to influence decision-making and secure multi-year revenue streams.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for entry into new markets and sectors.
- Engage with senior stakeholders at major regional clients to build trust and influence.
- Lead strategic negotiations and coordinate cross-functional teams for complex opportunities.
- Create and maintain a robust pipeline of long-term business opportunities.
- Drive recovery of dormant or lost accounts with high revenue potential.
Required Skills / Knowledge
- Fluency in Arabic and English for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen with ability to influence at executive levels.
- Technical expertise in Rotating Equipment and Oilfield & Pressure Control products.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex business development processes.
- Familiarity with CRM software.
Experience
- Proven track record in business development within the oil and gas sector.
- Experience engaging with major Middle East operators such as ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, PDO, Kuwait Oil Company, and QatarEnergy.
- Demonstrated success in strategic negotiations and securing long-term contracts.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in technical and commercial roles.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Full and Clean Driving License either UAE or Convertible to UAE License
Physical Requirements
- Able to travel extensively
