Job Purpose
The role of the Business Development Manager is to oversee business expansionefforts, focusing on corporate sales, partnerships, and market growth.
Identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and
driving revenue growth to enhance Floward's position in the floral and gifting
industry.
Key Responsibilities
BUSINESS GROWTH & STRATEGY
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand Floward's presence in the floral and gifting industry.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to enhance Floward's competitive edge.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, wedding organizers, and key stakeholders.
- Explore partnerships with hotels, event venues, and luxury brands to drive business expansion.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to refine business development efforts.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine business strategies based on market dynamics and company goals.
CORPORATE & B2B SALES
- Identify and target corporate clients for bulk and recurring floral and gifting needs.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with businesses for employee gifting programs, event collaborations, and seasonal promotions.
- Create customized proposals for corporate clients, ensuring alignment with their branding and gifting needs.
- Close high-value deals and long-term contracts with key clients to establish recurring revenue streams.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to develop campaigns targeting corporate and B2B clients.
PARTNERSHIPS & MARKET EXPANSION
- Establish strategic partnerships with wedding planners, event organizers, and luxury brands to enhance brand positioning.
- Negotiate and structure agreements with partners to expand Floward's reach and product offerings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for high-value partners, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Explore international markets and assess opportunities for regional and global expansion.
- Monitor and optimize partnership performance to ensure mutual success.
BRAND DEVELOPMENT & CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT
- Represent Floward at industry events, trade shows, and business forums to strengthen brand awareness.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns supporting business growth.
- Develop and refine sales and promotional materials tailored to the floral and gifting industry.
- Position Floward is a preferred partner for luxury floral and gifting services.
REPORTING & PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
- Track and report on business development metrics, including corporate sales growth, new partnerships, and market penetration.
- Prepare periodic reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for business growth.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize business development strategies and improve overall performance.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
- Corporate Sales Growth: Measured by revenue from B2B and corporate clients.
- Lead Conversion Rate: Percentage of corporate leads converted into long-term clients.
- Strategic Partnerships: Number and value of successful partnerships formed.
- Market Expansion: Entry into new markets and collaborations with premium brands.
- Client Retention & Loyalty: Recurring orders and long-term contracts with corporate clients.

Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a relatedfield.
- 7+ years of experience in business development, corporate sales, or strategic partnerships.
- 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
- Strong experience in B2B sales, lead generation, and client relationship management.
- Prior experience in luxury, hospitality, gifting, or floral industries is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
