JOB DETAILS

Position: Business Development Manager

Location: Dubai

Department: Business Development

Reports To: Director of Business Development

Experience: 5-7 years

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Market Expansion

Identify and develop new business opportunities within:

  • Government and public-sector entities
  • Civil authorities and ministries (e.g. security, emergency response, disaster management
  • Media organisations
  • Research and identify relevant decision-makers using professional networking channels, online platforms, and market intelligence.
  • Initiate contact and build relationships with prospective clients across the GCC, Middle East, and East Africa.
  • Support the expansion of the company's presence in public services and institutional markets.

Sales and Opportunity Management

  • Manage opportunities from initial outreach through meetings, proposals, negotiation, and closure.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, tenders, and RFP responses.
  • Coordinate internally with technical, engineering, and commercial teams to align solutions with client requirements.
  • Support meetings and follow-ups to ensure effective progression of opportunities.
  • Participate and attend sectors exhibitions and events

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, institutional requirements, and competitive activity.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on business development prospecting activities and pipeline progress.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENT

  • 5-7 years of experience in business development or sales within telecommunications or technology solutions.
  • Preferable experience working with government entities, public institutions, media organisations, or large enterprises in the GCC.
  • Experience in prospecting, outreach, and relationship development.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Commercially curious with a proactive mindset in identifying, developing, and unlocking new market opportunities.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
  • Background in technical solutions is preferred.
  • Self-driven, organised, and able to work independently.
  • UAE-based (valid driving licence is preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
