Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead sales and client acquisition for our building leak detection and repair services across Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction, waterproofing, or facilities management sectors, with the ability to develop new business opportunities and build long-term relationships with consultants, contractors, and facility management firms.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities for leak detection, waterproofing, and building maintenance projects.
- Conduct regular client visits to consultants, facility management companies, developers, and main contractors to promote services and gather project leads.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders in collaboration with the technical and operations teams.
- Conduct client presentations, product demonstrations, and site surveys to assess project requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM database, ensuring all client interactions, quotations, and follow-ups are accurately recorded.
- Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets, contributing to overall business growth and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers to ensure repeat business and client retention.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and upcoming projects to identify strategic business opportunities.
- Coordinate with the operations and finance teams to ensure smooth project handover and timely invoicing.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in business development or sales within the construction, waterproofing, MEP, or facility management sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing B2B deals.
- Strong network and relationships on construction sector is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of building systems, waterproofing materials, and leak detection technologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Zoho CRM, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and target-oriented individual capable of working independently.
- Valid UAE driving license required.
