Title: Business Development Manager / Account Executive

Location: Dubai, UAE

Type: Full-time

Reporting to: Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

Role Overview

Mr. Alfred & QuickPass are building the regulated infrastructure layer for Dubai's short-term rental and hospitality ecosystem.

The Business Development Manager / Account Executive (AE) is a frontline commercial role responsible for closing operator contracts, managing assigned accounts through activation, and contributing directly to recurring revenue growth.

This is a hands-on sales execution role with clear ownership, measurable outcomes, and variable compensation tied to performance and retention.

Core Responsibilities1. New Business Acquisition
  • Own the full sales cycle from qualified lead to contract signature
  • Close new operator and enterprise accounts across Mr. Alfred & QuickPass
  • Convert inbound demand, assigned opportunities, and outbound leads into signed contracts
  • Clearly articulate product value, regulatory positioning, and operator ROI

  • 2. Deal Ownership & Execution
    • Act as deal owner through:

    Contract signature

    Activation and onboarding handover

    • Coordinate internally to ensure smooth onboarding and go-live
    • Maintain high-quality CRM documentation and pipeline hygiene

  • 3. Pipeline Management
    • Manage assigned pipeline with discipline and transparency
    • Work with the Head of Business Development on prioritization and deal strategy
    • Follow up on:

    Self-service or inbound leads

    SDR-sourced opportunities

    Assigned late-stage opportunities

    4. Account Ownership & Retention Support
    • Act as assigned account owner where applicable
    • Support renewals and upsell conversations in collaboration with Account Management
    • Ensure strong client handover and long-term relationship continuity
    What Success Looks Like
    • Consistent deal flow and closed-won revenue
    • High activation and onboarding success rates
    • Clean handovers with minimal churn risk
    • Strong retention on assigned accounts
    • Predictable, forecastable pipeline contribution

    Compensation & Commission Structure

    Base Salary: 10,000 AED

    Variable Commission (Performance-Based):

    1. AE-Sourced & Closed Deals
    • 7% of first-year revenues
    • Applies to deals:

    Generated and closed directly by the AE

    Where the AE is the deal owner through contract signature and activation

    2. Non-AE-Sourced but AE-Closed Deals
    • 3% of first-year revenues
    • Applies to deals:

    Assigned by the Head of Sales / Head of BD

    Self-service leads followed up by the AE

    SDR-sourced or late-stage assisted deals

    • AE remains responsible for closing and handover

    3. Renewals
    • 25% of the renewal commission pool
    • Not 25% of renewal revenue
    • Paid only if:

    The AE is the assigned account owner

    The account renews successfully

    Commission payments:

    • Paid monthly
    • Subject to client retention and internal commission policies
