Business Development Manager (BDM)

Location: Dubai

Experience: 815 years

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for originating and developing new business opportunities for the ADGM entity by leveraging an established client base and sector relationships. The role involves end-to-end ownership of the business development cycle, including customer acquisition, relationship management, proposal support, and revenue achievement in line with organizational objectives.

This role is strictly intended for candidates with relevant business development experience in financial advisory and consulting firms, operating in regulated, institutional, or professional services environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain structured business development reporting, dashboards, and CRM data, covering pipeline status, revenue forecasts, referral performance, and key management metrics, with regular reporting and updates to Directors and Partners
  • Leverage established market relationships within DIFC and ADGM ecosystems to originate qualified opportunities and support efficient deal conversion
  • Develop, manage, and expand referral relationships with intermediaries, ecosystem partners, and professional networks
  • Drive new business development through strategic customer acquisition to achieve assigned revenue targets
  • Independently plan and execute sales activities, including client meetings and follow-up engagements
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead identification through negotiation and closure for assigned client portfolios
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through structured engagement, follow-ups, and periodic review meetings
  • Identify new markets, sector trends, growth areas, customers, and service opportunities relevant to the Company's offerings
  • Promote the Company's service offerings in alignment with client objectives, commercial requirements, and regulatory considerations
  • Support the preparation of business proposals, pitch decks, and engagement documentation
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings for Directors and senior management with prospective and existing clients
  • Ensure adherence to Company policies, operational guidelines, and governance frameworks in all business development activities
  • Cross-sell relevant services to existing clients, where appropriate and aligned with client needs.
  • Represent the Company at seminars, conferences, and networking events to generate business leads and market visibility

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Graduate or Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • 815 years of B2B in financial advisory and consulting firms, operating in regulated, institutional, or professional services environments.
  • Demonstrated experience working with corporate, institutional, or regulated clients
  • Proven ability to originate business through an existing client and referral network within advisory or consulting ecosystems
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder, and long-cycle sales processes

(Experience outside financial advisory or consulting firms is not considered relevant for this role.)

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities
  • Valid UAE Driving License Mandatory
