Job Description

placemaker is hiring on behalf of a leading design and manufacturing business specialising in luxury retail environments, bespoke interiors and high-end fit-out projects.

we're looking for an experienced business development manager to help drive growth across Saudi Arabia.

this is an opportunity for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and creating opportunities from the ground up. if you're commercially driven, confident in front of clients and have a strong network within the fit-out and interiors industry, we'd love to hear from you.

what you'll be doing:

  • identifying and securing new business opportunities across retail, hospitality, commercial and entertainment sectors
  • building and managing a healthy pipeline of opportunities across saudi arabia
  • developing relationships with consultants, architects, designers, developers and contractors
  • leading the business development process from initial outreach through to proposal, negotiation and tender submission
  • working closely with internal design, estimation and project teams to deliver competitive client solutions
  • representing the business at industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings
  • keeping a close eye on market activity, competitor trends and emerging opportunities
  • preparing sales forecasts and reporting on pipeline performance

what we're looking for:

  • 8+ years of business development experience within the Saudi fit-out, interiors or joinery industry
  • an established network across consultants, contractors, architects and developers within ksa
  • a proven track record of winning high-value projects and developing long-term client relationships
  • someone who is confident pitching, building relationships and creating opportunities from scratch
  • a self-starter who enjoys getting out into the market, generating their own leads and working independently
  • commercially minded with a positive, energetic approach and the resilience to maintain momentum through longer sales cycles
  • naturally well-spoken with excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • someone who enjoys representing a brand, networking and building trust with clients
  • fluent English; Arabic is an advantage
  • currently based in Saudi Arabia
